Privacy Policy

Propellon is built on a simple promise: your data stays on your device. This Privacy Policy describes what information the Propellon iOS app ("App") processes and how. We do not operate servers that receive personal information from the App.

We collect nothing on external servers. Propellon does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data outside of your device.

The following information is processed locally, on your device only, and is never transmitted:

• Bluetooth beacon proximity signals — used solely to determine whether you are in your focus zone. • Your selected apps for blocking — stored locally using Apple's Screen Time framework. • Calibration settings and preferences — stored in your device's local storage via iOS UserDefaults.

Location ("Always On") Propellon requires "Always On" location access because Apple's iBeacon API — the technology used to detect your Propellon beacon — is routed through CoreLocation. We receive a proximity signal (Near / Far), not GPS coordinates. No location data is read, recorded, or transmitted at any time.

Bluetooth Used to communicate with your beacon hardware during initial setup and configuration. All communication is local and direct between your iPhone and the beacon device.

Screen Time / Family Controls Required to engage and disengage app blocks based on your proximity to the beacon. Apple manages this permission entirely; Propellon has no visibility into your Screen Time usage history or reports.

Notifications (Optional) Used to deliver optional motivational quotes when you enter or leave your focus zone. All notifications are generated and scheduled locally on your device.

Propellon does not use any third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, tracking SDKs, crash reporting tools, or data brokers. No information is shared with any third party, ever.

Propellon is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or process information from children. If you believe a child under 13 is using the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Because all data remains on your device, there is no server-side security risk associated with Propellon. Your beacon calibration data and app preferences are stored in your device's sandboxed storage, accessible only by the Propellon application.

If we materially update this Privacy Policy, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
