Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Propellon iOS application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download or use the App.

Propellon is a productivity application for iOS that automatically blocks selected apps on your iPhone based on your physical proximity to a paired Bluetooth beacon. The App uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework to manage app restrictions and CoreLocation's iBeacon protocol for proximity detection.

The App requires: • An iPhone running iOS 18.1 or later • A compatible iBeacon-protocol Bluetooth beacon (Propellon beacon or equivalent third-party hardware) • Screen Time, Location ("Always On"), and Bluetooth permissions granted

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on iOS devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or otherwise commercially exploit or make available the App to any third party.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Propellon. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

You agree not to: • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the App • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the App • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security-related features of the App • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any related systems or networks

Propellon uses Apple's Screen Time framework to restrict access to apps on your device. Due to iOS system constraints, certain Apple system applications may not be blockable. Propellon makes no guarantee that every application installed on your device can be restricted, and is not responsible for any consequences, losses, or outcomes related to app availability or app blocking behavior.

Core functionality of Propellon requires a compatible iBeacon Bluetooth beacon. Propellon is not responsible for hardware defects, battery issues, Bluetooth range limitations, environmental interference (walls, furniture, other electronics), or any other physical factors that may affect beacon detection performance or reliability.

All content, design, graphics, code, and functionality within the App are owned by Propellon and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use Propellon's trademarks, logos, or trade names.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS SOLELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PROPELLON AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your license to use the App will immediately cease.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.
